About Clarendon Gardening
Clarendon Gardening specialise in improving, developing and maintaining peoples gardens as a one-off project or as part of regular care. I work in small, medium to very large gardens in the Clarendon Park, Knighton and Stoneygate areas of Leicester.
In recent years I've run my own allotments, producing vegetables and fruit and even hops to brew my homebrew beer.
I've recently been selected as the gardener to engage and support local residents on the St Matthews estate in Leicester to look after their gardens. This includes teaching skills including composting, pruning, sowing seeds and transplanting to residents to help them to brighten up their gardens and yards.This has also included building 10 large raised beds for vegetable and fruit growing for the local community.
All tools are provided when working at customers homes.
I can provide a fixed priced quote or an hourly rate plus materials for one off jobs or an hourly rate for regular garden maintenance.
I do not carry any form of weedkillers or pest control chemicals as I to try to encourage wildlife to thrive in local gardens. I can advise on weed and pest control methods without the use of chemicals and methods to encourage wildlife through garden design and planting approaches.
I use local suppliers where possible for plants, fencing and other garden materials.
For larger jobs I often work with a local handyman based in Knighton, Leicester.
